Living Polynesia through the expression of dance and song

 Tauhere Dance Group’s goal is to teach the arts of Polynesia to include but not be limited to song

 and language and its meaning, arts and crafts through costume creation, weaving

crafts through costume creation, weaving lauhala or coconut palms leaf, fishing, agriculture and much more. The

 hands on experience of many of the Polynesian cultural aspects will allow the dancer to move gracefully when

 expressing the story through dance.
